Over a two year period, dozens of young people in the small Welsh town of Bridgend have killed themselves. Many of the victims knew each other and the deaths made headlines worldwide. There were allegations of internet suicide cults or a suicide craze. What caused this 'cluster' of deaths? Can suicide be contagious and what role did media coverage play in encouraging more deaths?
