Yet, it also houses a large city-wide poverty epidemic that hits lower class dwellers like a boulder rolling down the side of a mountain. Most of the county’s residents may not even be aware, but some neighborhoods in within Milwaukee’s limits are wrestling with low income, local violence, job loss, and many other economic shortcomings. It’s a problem that people ignore and even more don’t recognize. This short non-fiction piece takes a different approach on exposing the problems within the city.
