This poetic interpretation of the familiar is seen through the lens as a vast uncompromising force of nature taking it to a place in the viewer’s mind beyond reality. It is a film which explores time, highlighting mankind’s brief fragile existence in the face of the apparently limitless forces of nature.

"Storm" is the story of the 12-year-old Freddie, who lives alone with his father. Freddie has a big heart, and when he discovers a dog being abused by its owner, he decides to take action. Against his father's wish, Freddie kidnaps the dog in terribly stormy weather and hides it in his room. The dog, Storm, has a very unusual ability, he can run very fast. Freddie takes Storm to the racetrack and the dog trainer, Sofie, offers to help tutor him. Even though things are progressing, and the dog race championship is around the corner, there's still opposition: especially from a father who can't know anything and a very intimidating dog owner, who suddenly appears out of the blue. Thankfully, Freddie has some good people by his side, including the warm-hearted Mrs. Andersen and a very nice girl from the school.

Storm, quite simply is a video recording of a car ride at night in hurricane forces. This is visual art that delivers us from the purely visual back to the world of the physical experience with all our senses awakened. Instead of bringing us the installation photographic image – or the digitally enhanced photographic simulation – these artists direct us from the world of images to the world of things, inviting us to grapple with them at first hand.
