Once in a Full Moon
Full Moon
Nermin Hamzagić
A police officer Hamza has to work that night even though his wife has gone into labour, because the police are short-staffed. To make everything worse, it seems that people showing up at the station have decided to prove the old belief about the mysterious powers of the full moon and its influence on human behaviour. In the course of that one night, representatives of all the absurdity and tragedy of life in Bosnia and Herzegovina parade through the station and somehow help Hamza get ready for a new life.

Be inspired by women who push boundaries. FULL MOON showcases the legends, current icons and future prodigies of this ever-evolving lifestyle sport. Seven of the world’s best female snowboarders join forces for the first time ever to explore their backyard, the backcountry of magnificent British Columbia. We are inspired through the intimate, heart-felt stories through the eyes of some of the most influential females in our sport. Full Moon is a two-year film project documenting the past, present, and future of women's snowboarding. For the first time, some of the best women riders in the sport will work together as a crew to push their limits and capture the camaraderie and adventure that comes with it. Through interviews and resurrected classic footage, Runway Films is producing a film that pays tribute to the history of women's snowboarding and showcases how it has influenced and encouraged the current state of the sport.

The video ‘Full moon’ present a few attempts over years to capture a poetic moment which happened once: a traveling with an extraordinary full moon while driving to Raouché crossing ‘the Ring’, then back home. The same traveling is repeated, each time in a different way. The recordings, each of which is diagnosis of our ‘present’ in Beirut, constitute as many fragments of history. Is it possible to capture an instant? Aren’t we always beneath or beyond reality? Here, repetition becomes the reflection of a vain desire to capture beauty and at the same time a means of renewal. It reflects on the process of creation.
