Caddo Lake

The story follows Ellie, a troubled teenager who clashes with her mother and has run away to stay with a friend. Meanwhile, Paris, a man in his twenties, is haunted by the memory of his mother, who died in a car accident. The setting is Caddo Lake, Texas, where Ellie's 8-year-old stepsister, Anna, goes missing one night.

While searching for Anna, Ellie discovers that the lake has a time displacement phenomenon, allowing her to travel back in time. In her attempts to find Anna, she realizes that her stepsister is actually her grandmother. Concurrently, Paris investigates his mother's death and experiences strange occurrences at the lake, leading him to a portal that connects him to Anna in 1952.

As the narratives of Ellie and Paris converge, both characters must navigate their family histories and the mysterious nature of the lake. The story weaves together themes of time travel, familial bonds, and the consequences of their actions as they seek to understand their pasts and each other.
