The Shadow Strays

Codename 13, known as Ribero, is a 17-year-old assassin trained by the notorious organization called the Shadow. Following a disastrous mission in Japan that exposes her vulnerabilities, she faces suspension and is exiled to Jakarta, Indonesia. While residing in a safe house, 13 unexpectedly forms a deep bond with an 11-year-old boy named Monji, who is struggling with the loss of his mother to a crime syndicate.

Their friendship provides 13 with a glimpse of a life beyond killing, igniting a flicker of conscience within her. However, their fragile peace is shattered when Monji is kidnapped by members of the very crime syndicate that caused him so much pain. Realizing that Monji's life is in danger, 13 becomes fiercely determined to rescue him.

She embarks on a relentless quest, willing to take down anyone who stands in her way, including her mentor, Umbra, and the Shadow itself. With her skills as an assassin put to the ultimate test, 13 is ready to unleash a path of destruction in her mission to save Monji, redefining her purpose along the way.
