Umesh Mehra
1953 (71 год)Umesh Mehra is an Indian film director and Producer of Bollywood. He is the son of Bollywood producer F.C. Mehra. He was prominent in the 1980s and 90s with many Mithun Chakraborty starrers. He has also directed Akshay Kumar in a couple of movies. Some of his films are Yaar Gaddar, Shikari: The Hunter, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and International Khiladi.

Widower Jairaj Verma lives with his four sons in a small apartment. Three of his sons are in their teens, while his youngest son is around 12 years. On the other hand there is Maya Sinha, a widow, who also lives in a small apartment with three children, two sons and a daughter, Komal, who is about to get married. Then rumors spread abound that Maya and Jairaj are having an affair, and this adversely affects Komal's marriage, leaving her angry and confused. Jairaj and Maya's attempts to pacify their respective children that they are husband and wife, is of no avail, as they are convinced that Maya and Jairaj are having an illicit affair. The only solution to end this dilemma is for Jairaj and Maya to get married, and live together as a family, but will their children and the community accept them as husband and wife?

Ijjat Beg buys pot from her with whatever money he had and they were attracted to each other. Sohni dispensed with her servant and kept Ijjat Beg instead. This gave them more opportunity to meet. This was a scandal in the town and Sohni was perforce married to Rehaman who was slightly off his head. Sohni continued her meeting Ijjat Beg who went out fishing. When the atmosphere became to hot for them they jointly took a water grave for their love.

The film is a Hindi remake of the 1980 American film The Blue Lagoon. As kids, their parents Mithun and Parveen travel through the sea, and their ship is stranded on an island due to heavy storm. The parents die, and the cousins are left to survive on the island all alone. They are later accompanied by an ape Kalu, who becomes their pet. They have to survive harsh climate, and the cannibal people on the island. After 20 years of searching, their grandfather Parikshit Sahni, succeeds in finding them on the island. He has been searching for them since 20 years, accompanied by his younger brother Prem Chopra. When he finds them, Prem Chopra tries to kill Parikshit, but all of them survive, and Parikshit takes them back to the city.

This story revolves around two lovebirds Chand and Shaheen. There appear to be no complications to the lovebirds marriage, however, Chand is asked to gather together a team to play cricket. Chand's naivety is taken advantage of by a group of terrorists, and ultimately Chand becomes involved with terrorists group, and Police Inspector Chauthe (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) claims that he has sufficient evidence to convict Chand. Shaheen believes Chand is innocent, and sets out to prove his innocence.
