Erik Clausen, Nina Gunke
It is the adult Gustav Adolf, who tells the story of the momentous day when he as a little boy with his father and mother and the whole staircase, went to the beach to enjoy the pleasures of bathing. We are in 1930s working-class neighborhood in Copenhagen. In a backyard apartment, we meet the little working-up of small Gustav Adolf (Benjamin Rothenborg Vibe) who has great respect for his father, Axel (Erik Clausen). Hør, var der ikke en som lo?
Henning Carlsen
Kirsten Olesen, Jesper Christensen
The late 1930s. A young enemployed, unskilled worker walks through the streets of Copenhagen, sustaining himself partly on the dole and free soup-kitchen meals and partly on day-dreams. He spends time at a cemetry studying headstone inscriptions. Mild-mannered and of poetic bent, he understands little of an intellectual friend's advice and shies away from the love of a woman who shares her bed with him.

Her chums Ingolf, Fredrik, and Viktor decide to go to see her, and stow away on board granddad's ship, where they meet another stowaway, the tough, fearless mouse Ali, who has set off into the world in search of happiness. Our friends are dragged into Ali's adventures and agree to help him to obtain cheese on board. But granddad is furious: he doesn't want kids on board, and the cat, the cook, and the captain aren't exactly mouse lovers either. Meanwhile, Ali has a secret!
Cirkeline: Little Big Mouse

Lille spejl
Edward Fleming
Frits Helmuth, Bodil Kjer
Heavily influenced by the French stage sensation La Cage Aux Folles (which was filmed the very same year) this trite drag-queen comedy about a group of homosexuals sharing an apartment with a naive but straight country boy did not live up to expectations. The lead characters lead boring lives during the day and, as depicted here, downright pathetic existences at night, all decked out in peacock plumes and high heels and with nowhere to go. Several of the performances -- especially Fritz Helmuth as the love-starved, aptly named Bent -- manage to reach a little beyond the stereotypes, but Bodil Kjær, of all people, delivers a simply dreadful (and one-note) parody of a once-glamorous movie star.
Mirror, Mirror

Cirkeline - Storbyens mus
Jannik Hastrup
Ida Marie Christensen, Anne Clausen
She's back - the lovable little elf who sleeps in a matchbox on the artist's desk: and of course her playmates, too, the comical mouse couple Fredrik and Ingolf. The trio are moving into the city. It's a mjor step for Circleen and the mice, and one which has its pros and cons. The city is a dangerous place, but it also has cute, amusing, cheeky playmates such as Sidse, whose family boasts a pirate, and Hassan's family, who introduce food-loving Ingolf to feta cheese and belly-dancing.
