Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is an American actress, comedian, and producer. She gained recognition for her role as April Ludgate on Parks and Recreation (2009–2015) and later starred in Legion (2017–2019). Plaza made her film debut in Mystery Team (2009) and had leading roles in Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), Ingrid Goes West (2017), and Emily the Criminal (2022).

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Plaza grew up in a working-class family with Puerto Rican and Irish roots. Inspired by her parents' hard work, she began acting in local theater as a teen and later studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 2006.

In 2023, she was named one of Time's 100 most influential people and earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role in The White Lotus (2022). Plaza married writer-director Jeff Baena in 2021. She has spoken about her bisexuality and experiences with a stroke in her 20s that temporarily caused paralysis.
