The near future. Every night the media show new reports about war and terror which constantly loom like a dark cloud over the nation. To protect the citizens from possible air attacks the GNOSIS Corporation has developed a personal bomb shelter for everyone - the new BS-2016. While nearly every household in the city has one installed already, 12 year old Alex is still begging his dad to finally buy one so he can feel safe. As the air raid alarms go off that night and lights from exploding rockets gloom in the dark skies it seems too late: Alex has to face his fears and soon discovers a dark conspiracy that not only threatens his life but the life of his whole family as well.

"Land of Giants" is a creative mix of the apocalyptic science-fiction, western and martial arts genre. After the storm reduced our world to ruins, the Giants came to us, to punish those who would ever again lay their hands on the magic called "Electricity". A long time ago Crutch (Mathis Landwehr) challenged the Gigants anger. His destroyed knee won't let him forget the day, they took everything from him. So he ventured out to hunt and kill them.

Germany refuses to receive any more refugees. The only way to obtain citizenship is to survive the popular TV show 'Immigration Game'. Whoever participates as a 'Runner' will be abandoned on the outskirts of Berlin and must make their way to the television tower at Alexanderplatz. For a prize money every German citizen may chase and eventually kill the refugees entirely unpunished.
