The isolation of Adela and Marcelino is common among many inmates processed without an interpreter in their native language before the Mexican justice system. The story of a town at the mercy of a landscape in transformation; standing on the brink of an encroaching reality, one in which the age-old fears of the inhabitants are being reproduced. Through the voices of the inhabitants in different parts of the country, we will witness the adaptation as well as the mitigation that is carried out in their communities.
