Helen Forrest
1917 - 1999Helen Forrest (born Helen Fogel, April 12, 1917 – July 11, 1999) was an American singer of traditional pop and swing music. She served as the "girl singer" for three of the most popular big bands (Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Harry James) of the Swing Era, thereby earning a reputation as "the voice of the name bands".

War hero flier Bob Collins goes on a war bond selling tour with two buddies, and substitute "chaperone" Ivy Hotchkiss. Bob's a cheerful Lothario with several girls in every town on the tour.
