2021Motke’s most recent feature film, Another Version of You, premiered at the Nashville Film Festival in 2018, winning the Audience Award. The film was the third most screened film in the festival’s 49 year history. It also won Best Feature Film and Motke won Best Director at the 2018 Cindependent Film Festival and The Daniel Chapp Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Lake County Film Festival. The film will be available in the US in November, 2019.
Motke makes a living directing commercials and is busy working on plans for the next feature film. Motke’s home is in Nashville, but he has a car and the ability to find airports because he never wants the adventures to end. To see Motke’s work, visit motke.net.

During a jaunt through the woods a few weeks before their senior year of high school, Eleanor and her friends find a mysterious wooden box. As the days pass, unexplainable things begin to happen. Any item put in the box disappears. Wishes, or something resembling wishes, start getting granted. People outside of the group begin disappearing. They begin finding messages in books and magazines; messages that suggest something far more sinister may be at work. When her friends begin to disappear, Eleanor realizes she has to stop whatever is literally tearing her friends apart. The Many Monsters of Sadness is a light hearted film that takes a turn towards darkness, suspense, and drama, about the price of getting everything you want.

Diggsy (Kristopher Wente) has been in love with Suzette (Sara Antonio) since he was 9 years old. After she marries someone else, he encounters a mysterious stranger (Eddie George) who offers him a key that can open doors into parallel universes. This uncanny opportunity gives him a chance to find a version of Suzette who will love him back. During his journey, he unexpectedly meets Gwyneth (C.J. Perry), a wild card who may throw his universe-jumping adventure for a loop. For Diggsy, this is a tale full of surprises, awkward encounters, and the possibility of finding the perfect version of that someone who will love you back.
