The film starts by displaying an antic of Keshavan (Thilakan) who is an inmate of the Kakkanad Mental Hospital. Two other inmates are Benny (Mukesh) and Krishnankutty (Jagathy Sreekumar), along with the female inmate Philomena. By profession Benny is an artist, Krishnankutty is a mechanic and Keshavan had retired from military service. The late Hakeem Rawther too plays as an inmate in a cameo role. The trio chance to come across a newspaper report that Amitabh Bachchan is visiting Ernakulam City for film shooting, near the place they stay. They are soon joined by Venu (Siddique), as the brother of Balan (N.N.Balakrishnan) who takes him to the mental hospital. Venu is a good singer but has a compulsive obsession to singing. Driven by a desire to see Amitabh Bachchan the four of them manage to escape from the mental hospital that night by ripping off the cell warden Ameen (Mala Aravindan). They reach Ernakulam city in a bus, and hilarity starts

Abhimanyu movie is all about Hari (Mohanlal) who is a welder in a small factory, witnesses a gang-related murder and gets inadvertently involved with the underworld. The murder of a benevolent local boss complicates life in the slum where Hari lives, causing his slow transformation to a life of crime. Decent performances, in an otherwise weak script.

Kakkakuyil movie is about Sivaraman(Mohanlal) who has come to Mumbai for a visa. But Sivaraman finds his friend Govindan Kutty (Mukesh) amidst a sea of problems. Sivaraman is forced to participate in a bank robbery planned by Thomas and his gang, which puts them in more trouble.And they find a place as Kunjunni with the body of Govindan kutty and sound of Sivaraman in the house of a blind old couple (Nedumudi Venu and Kaviyoor Ponnamma), whose grandson Kunjunni who had left them a long time ago (when he was 7) and is now coming home.But a turn of events finds Sivaraman and Govindan kutty (combined) as Kunjunni with the body of Govindan kutty and sound of Sivaraman.

The film starts with NSG Officer Shyam arresting a terrorist nicknamed Jagmohan Pandey. Usha Varma, the judge of the case happens to be the sister of the Indian Home Secretary Rajan Varma. In retaliation to the arrest, the terrorists kill Unni, Usha's son. Following this incident the government enlists Z Category protection for Justice Usha Varma and her family.Rajan Varma and Balram decide to give the assignment to the Black Cat Commando Team under Shyam's command.

Sudhakaran is a manager in an interstate bus office. He is in love with Ramani and they hope to get married when she finishes her studies. Sudhakaran's father, a palmist, reads Ramani's hand one day and predicts that a marriage between her and Sudhakaran will end in Sudhakaran's death. Ramani is heart broken but decides that she will not marry Sudhakaran. Panikkar notices his favorite employee's state of mind and promises to find him a bride worthy of his respect and love. Sudhakaran though hesitant gives into the suggestion and gets married to Hrudayakumari. Hrudayakumari, the new bride is a simple girl with the stubbornness and willfulness of a child. Her behaviour vexes Sudhakaran and his mother.
