The story focuses on the 16-year-old Protagonist after he is transferred to Shujin High School in Tokyo. Staying with friends of his parents, he meets up with two fellow students, problem child Ryuuji Sakamoto and withdrawn Anne Takamaki, and a talking, shape-shifting cat-like creature known as Morgana. During his time there, feeling suppressed by their environment, the four form a group known as the "Phantom Thieves," working together to carry out heists and encountering mysterious phenomena along the way.

Goblin Slayer and his party head up to the snowy mountains in the north after receiving that request from the Sword Maiden to find any information on the Noble Fencer that disappeared after leaving to slay some goblins. A small village gets attacked, they encounter a mysterious chapel, and something about how these goblins are acting bothers the Goblin slayer. In order to save the captured Noble Fencer, the Goblin Slayer and his party head to an ancient fortress covered in snow to face off with a powerful foe and a horde of goblins!

Ученик старших классов Масаки не представлял, чем ему заниматься во время летних каникул. Друзей у парня практически не было, а сидеть всё лето дома ему тоже не хотелось. Решив прогуляться к морскому берегу, главный герой повстречал необычного юношу по имени Акицуки. Этот молодой человек увлекался сёрфингом и предложил Масаки присоединиться к нему. Поначалу старшеклассник скептически отнёсся к этой идее, но вскоре он втянулся и полюбил сёрфинг всем сердцем. Они с Акицуки стали близкими друзьями и проводили вместе много времени. Со временем к их компании стали присоединяться другие желающие оседлать волну. Вскоре главный герой с удивлением заметил, что у него появилось несколько преданных друзей, которые разделяют его интересы и относятся к нему с искренним уважением. Небольшая, но сплоченная компания проявляла заботу о каждом, кто входил в неё. Парни помогали друг другу советами в личных делах и помогали решать бытовые проблемы.
