On vacation in Italy, American couple Louise and Ben Dalton and their daughter Agnes befriend British couple Paddy and Ciara and their son Ant. After receiving an invitation to the couple's remote farmhouse, they hope to resolve their issues back home, especially Agnes's anxiety. Upon arrival, the Daltons feel uneasy due to odd incidents and Paddy and Ciara's troubling behavior toward Ant, who has communication difficulties. As tensions rise, Ant reveals that his parents are serial killers who lure families to their farmhouse. Realizing they're in danger, the Daltons plan to escape while alerting the police. When their plan is discovered, a tense confrontation ensues, forcing the family to fight for their survival against their sinister hosts.
