Lew Kelly is a walking cuckoo-clock who thinks he is a judge. Leon and Eddie are two drunks who think they are drivers. They crash together, and Lew gets trapped in the middle. Leon and Eddie finally come to terms and leave Lew amidst the wreckage. The next day, Leon answers a court summons, only to find that Lew is the presiding judge, after sneaking in and taking over the job as the regular judge is absent.

Annie (Ann Gillis), an orphan, (based on Harold Gray's comic strip but who is at no point in the film called 'Little Orphan Annie), is befriended by a fight manager, 'Pop' Corrigan (J. Farrell MacDonald). She brings him Johnny Adams (Robert Kent), a promising prizefighter. Annie gets the people of the neighborhood to finance his training. But on the night of Johnny's big fight, a gambling syndicate locks him in a gymnasium and it appears the neighborhood folks will lose their investment.

The story, if you want to call it that is about a husband who tells his wife he's going hunting but actually sneaks off to fool around in Atlantic City. While the wife, says she's going to Washington D.C. but is also sneaking off the Atlantic City. once there the husband goes to a scenic photographer who fakes pictures to cover for straying spouses. Later the pictures are delivered to the hotel where all parties literally run into each other!
