Caleb McLaughlin

Caleb McLaughlin (born October 13, 2001) is an American actor best known for his role as Lucas Sinclair in Netflix's Stranger Things. He began his career as Young Simba in the Broadway production of The Lion King, followed by minor TV roles. After his success with Stranger Things, he starred in the drama films High Flying Bird (2019) and Concrete Cowboy (2020), where he played his first leading role. McLaughlin also appeared in the miniseries The New Edition Story (2017) and has done voice acting for television.

Born in Carmel, New York, McLaughlin studied at Kent Primary School and George Fischer Middle School. He trained in dance at Happy Feet Dance School and later at the Harlem School of the Arts under Aubrey Lynch. McLaughlin is a cousin of actress Marsai Martin.
