Ridhima (Manjula), an executive from Delhi-based pharmaceutical company visits a remote village in AP to make a deal on patents with a professor who invented a new drug. The professor leaves a note that he would return late as he had to attend some urgent work and she shall wait for his arrival. At that time Madhav Rao, a junior lawyer who supervises the event of patent selling arrives at that place. Ridhima is a fun loving unmarried girl. Madhav Rao is a frustrated married guy. The events that take place for a few hours between these two makes up the story.

Political journalist Jayadev (Meka Srikanth) unearths several scams made by a politician (Ahuti Prasad) who in turn invites him to bribe him. The but idealistic Jayadev refuses to relent, and as they discuss, a group of Maoists attack the politician and kill him off and Jayadev is held as their hostage. Along with Jayadev, the group of Maoists led by Gogi (Ajay) head to their base camp in a dense forest. During the journey, their ideologies are tested; good and bad are exposed, in a dramatic way.

In the Southern part of India, there are two communities living - separated by caste and hatred of each other. The lower caste community has a young woman named Priyanka, who would like to reform and build relationship with both the communities. However, when the leader of the upper caste community proposes that she marry his younger brother, Priyanka refuses, for she loves Raju, an educated village orphan, As a result, the division between the two communities grows, so much so that Priyanka's dad is killed, and she herself is assaulted. Then the communities are hit by heavy torrential rain and floods, which lead to the collapse of the upper caste community, and the question remains: will the lower caste, who have always been oppressed by the upper caste people, forgo their differences and assist them, or will they stand by and watch them being swept away.

Suryakantham gets kidnapped by Tilak's enemies. The rest of the movie is about how Tilak saves her.
