Tracey Bonner

Tracey Bonner is an American actress best known for her roles in Raising Dion, Sweet Magnolias, and Black Lightning. Born in Decatur, GA, and raised in Murfreesboro, TN, she grew up in a family of educators. Tracey discovered her passion for acting through a high school Shakespeare production, which led her to extensive training and numerous theater performances across the U.S. A talented athlete, she earned a full scholarship to Tennessee State University, where she was an academic and athletic All-American in softball, majoring in Speech Communication and Theatre with an English minor. She later obtained an MFA in Acting from DePaul University's Theatre School and taught for 15 years before pursuing acting full-time.

Outside of acting, Tracey runs the non-profit DateYourselfGirl, Inc., which empowers women through healing conversations and philanthropy. The organization’s annual Diaper Drive supports homeless mothers by providing essentials. Additionally, she owns "Get Booked Taping Service," helping actors with auditions and conducting her "Master the Art of Self Tape" workshops. Through her work, Tracey aims to inspire others to harness their talents for positive impact.
