
Laura Peterson-Aardam
2021Laura Peterson-Aardam (until 2016 Laura Peterson; born September 30, 1983) is an Estonian actress.
She graduated from Tallinn Old Town College of Education and the Estonian Humanitarian Institute. In 2006, she graduated from the XXII flight of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater School of Performing Arts.
From 2006 to 2008, she worked as an actress in Vanemuise. Since 2009, she has been an actor at Theatrum and a teacher at the theater school of Vanalinna Hariduskollegium. Since 2018, she has also been an actress at the Ugala Theater.
Her mother is Mare Peterson, father is actor and director Lembit Peterson. She has five siblings: Theatrum actor and director Marius Peterson, Theatrum actor and director, VHK theater branch teacher Maria Peterson, Saint Michael School teacher Elisabeth Peterson, Jonathan Peterson, Anna Kristin Peterson-McCarthy.

June 14, 1941, 3 a.m. Over 40000 people from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are deported by Soviets to Siberia. Among them is a philosophy student Erna, a happily married mother of a little girl. Separated from her husband Erna and her daughter are dispatched together with other women and children to remote Siberian territories. Despite hunger, fear and brutal humiliation Erna never in next fifteen years loses her sense of freedom and hope of returning to homeland. The story is inspired by real events.
