Yuichi Ito
2021Yuichi Ito (1962-) is a Japanese animation artist. He was born in Tokyo. He graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design in 1985. He is a director of the Japan Animation Association. He is a professor at the Department of Animation, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. He is a visiting professor at the Department of Character Art, Faculty of Arts, Osaka University of Arts. He is the representative director of Itoon Co., Ltd.

In the Harbor town "Y", The old red brick-built building which is in a corner of the town has watched the changing times of the harbor and people's lives for above hundred years. A red brick who is a piece of the building has seen "the glittering square thing" from there. It has been in his mind. One day, he gets out of the building wall and begins to walk. After walking, he finds it a sea. And then, he is given some encounters.
