Devon Terrell, born on October 23, 1992, is an Australian actor renowned for his portrayal of a young Barack Obama in the 2016 biographical film Barry and as Arthur in the Netflix series Cursed.

Originally from Long Beach, California, Terrell moved to Perth, Western Australia, at age five. He completed his secondary education at Lynwood Senior High School and later studied drama at Edith Cowan University, graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2013.

Terrell's acting career began with a role in Steve McQueen's HBO miniseries Codes of Conduct, which was canceled after the pilot. He then auditioned for Barry, expressing a strong connection to Obama, whom he had dreamed of portraying since he was 19. To prepare, he worked with a dialect coach, studied Obama’s speeches, and trained himself to mimic Obama's left-handedness. His performance received acclaim upon the film's release.

Later, he took on the role of Arthur in Cursed, which premiered on Netflix on July 17, 2020. Terrell also played Cliff in Issa Rae's Rap Sh!t, which debuted on HBO Max on July 21, 2022.
