Dana Lee

Dana Lee, born near Guangzhou, China, moved to Houston, Texas at age seven. Growing up in a racially divided city, he experienced life in both Black and White communities. Shy as a child, he took acting classes in high school and developed a love for the craft. Despite initial resistance from his parents, he pursued acting after joining the Marine Corps Reserve and earning a degree in Business Administration.

Lee's career includes significant work in film, TV, and prestigious stage venues like The Public Theatre and The Kennedy Center. He has performed in classic and modern plays and was a prominent figure at East-West Players. He is married to Michele, with two daughters, Jennifer and Danielle. He won the Award of Excellence at the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival in 2002 and was honored by the Chinese-American Society of Los Angeles.
