Jay DeVon Johnson

Jay retired from the U.S. Army in October 2007 after 21 years of service, earning the Legion of Merit. As a broadcast journalist, he received numerous Department of Defense awards, including Military Photographer of the Year, and won an Emmy for co-hosting the 2009 Congressional Medal of Honor Society convention.

He has appeared on stage as Jim Bono in "Fences," earning an Outstanding Supporting Actor Award. Now living near Atlanta, GA, he previously served as a military adviser for the Lifetime drama "Army Wives."

Jay holds a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor's in Social Psychology. He is a life member of the Noncommissioned Officers Association and a Desert Storm veteran, and he is a proud father of two daughters.
