Kristian Håskjold is award-winning Danish/Norwegian writer/director based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He graduated in Directing at the Danish independent film school SUPER16 in 2021 with the short film YOUNG.

His short films have been screened at 100+ festivals and won 20 awards. FOREVER NOW won 12 awards, among them the Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at SXSW in 2017. His short film A WORTHY MAN won 5 awards, there among the jury award for “Best European Short Film” at Leuven International Short Film Festival in 2018 and became shortlisted for European Film Awards 2019. His TV show CHEMO BRAIN was selected to have its international premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2020 and won Special Jury Recognition for Drama at SXSW 2020.

In 2020 Kristian was selected to European Film Promotion and Karlovy Vary International Film Festival's FUTURE FRAMES talent program for his short film CROCODILE TEARS.
