Luís Costa

2021

Luís Costa was born on October 1993, in Porto. In 2014, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Sound and Image, from the Art’s School of the Catholic University, in Porto. He worked in several projects and roles in the audiovisual area. His first film ‘Fontelonga’ is an awarded documentary short film directed in the first year of University, being selected for several cinema festivals, including the nomination for best documentary short film by the Portuguese Film Academy. ‘Pena Fria’, his first fiction short film, has been selected for international film festivals. Besides cinema, he works on photography. Deeply connected to the interior of Portugal, specifically to Trás-os-Montes, he has been attempting to portray that region in some of his works.
