Rose Bianco

Rose Bianco, best known for her role as Rosa, Miguel's loving grandmother on Cobra Kai (Netflix), is a classically trained actress. Her notable TV credits include a recurring role on Being Mary Jane with Gabrielle Union, New Amsterdam with Ryan Eggold, and the upcoming WandaVision. On the big screen, she recently appeared in Ric Roman Waugh's Greenland and the Netflix film Project Power, and will have a supporting role in The Tomorrow War with Chris Pratt in 2021.

Born and raised in Chicago, Rose made her acting debut at Victory Gardens Theatre before studying Speech and Drama at DePaul University. She also trained for two years with Ted Liss. Rose worked with the theater company Les Nickelettes in San Francisco and originated the role of "Crystal Glitz" in The Didi Glitz Story: I'd Rather Be Doing Something Else. After earning her Equity card with Ed Bullins' City Preacher at the Magic Theatre, she moved to New York, studied with Julie Bovasso and Bill Hickey, and appeared in various showcases, including Public Transportation. After taking a break to focus on motherhood, Rose returned to the entertainment industry in Atlanta as the city gained recognition as the "Hollywood of the South."
