Gabe Newell, commonly known as "Gaben" (a nickname derived from his work email address), is an American businessman and computer programmer who co-founded Valve Corporation in 1996 with his co-worker at Microsoft, Mike Harrington. As of 2020, Newell remains the President and co-owner of Valve and has a net worth of over $3.5 billion.
