Joachim Rønning (born May 30, 1972) is a Norwegian film director, producer, and writer known for his work on Kon-Tiki, which earned Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations, and Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. His films have grossed over $1.3 billion globally.

Rønning made his feature film debut in 2006 with Bandidas, starring Penélope Cruz and Salma Hayek, released by EuropaCorp and Twentieth Century Fox. His 2012 film Kon-Tiki was the first Norwegian film nominated for both a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. He also directed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019).
