Шли последние дни июня 1942 года. Фашистские войска рвались к Севастополю, бои шли уже в самом городе. Корабли Черноморского флота уже не раз прорывались в Севастополь, доставляя пополнение, боеприпасы и оружие. И вот, эсминцы «Дерзкий» и «Стремительный» получают новый приказ отправиться в Севастополь. Этот путь известен морякам достаточно хорошо, но фашисты неоднократно минировали единственный фарватер к Севастополю, а вражеские самолеты постоянно атакуют эсминцы. Ценой потери «Дерзкого» морякам удается прорваться в Севастополь. Но самые тяжелые испытания выпадают морякам на обратном пути, когда перегруженный ранеными «Стремительный» возвращается в родной порт.
