1976 (49 лет)Recently transitioning from a successful career as a production designer working with many esteemed directors like Marcus Nisptl, Mark Pellington and Jeff Tremaine on hundreds of commercials and music videos he got immediate recognition for writing and directing the infamous long-form music film for The Weeknd : Kiss Land ; the title song from his debut album from XO / Republic / Universal.
He has gone on to work with many artists, brands , labels and agencies around the world including Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, VALvE, Swiss Reimagined, John Taylor, Ash, Tim Wheeler, Gavin Friday, Levi Jeans, Bohemian Society, Sony, Warner Bros., Ogilvy and 72 & Sunny to name a few.
ICM sent him the script for his debut feature after seeing Kiss Land.
Baird is now in post-production on the sci-fi noir ; Zone #414 which shot in Europe and stars Guy Pearce, Matilda Lutz and Travis Fimmel. Saban Films, Universal Pictures and Highland Film Group are releasing the picture globally in March 2021.
He is in production on his next project; the action-thriller, One Way, which will shoot in January in the US and stars Colson Baker ( Machine Gun Kelly) and a second collaboration with Travis Fimmel. Highland Film Group once again have arranged finance and are handling worldwide sales.
