They are joined by their mutual friend Forbes, who arrives with a suitcase containing a body-swapping device he created for a game where players guess who is in which body. After some initial hesitation, the group agrees to participate, taking Polaroid photos for identification. In the first round, Cyrus, who is actually in Reuben's body, becomes involved in a misunderstanding when Forbes, in Dennis's body, pretends to be Cyrus. The game takes a dark turn when the rooftop balcony collapses, resulting in the deaths of Reuben and Brooke. Tensions rise as the group argues about whether to call the police. Forbes tries to escape with the device, while Shelby refuses to swap back into her original body. In the chaos, secrets and betrayals surface, leading to a fight that activates the device. The following day, Beatrice, who has swapped bodies with Forbes, reveals her identity and motives for revenge. In the aftermath, Shelby and Cyrus return to their original bodies, but Beatrice escapes with Dennis's money and the device.
