Shivaraj falls in love with his manager's daughter, Shruthi. However, she refuses his proposal and challenges him to first earn Rs 5000 without using any influence. Shruthi makes Shivaraj a better person, and they both fall in love. But Shruthi finds out that her best friend Aishwarya is also in love with Shivaraj so she gives up her love for her best friend. Later when Aishwarya learns about SHruthi too being in love with him, she feels guilty and backs off the relationship. Instead, Shivaraj comes up with a mind baffling situation and he sets up both the girls with two of his friends and he finds another girl for himself.

Achuvinte Amma is a movie that tells the deep rooted relation between a mother, Vanaja and a daughter Achu. Vanaja is a street smart LIC agent who has made it on her own. She lives with her only daughter Aswathy alias Achu who holds a diploma in Civil Engineering. Mother and daughter share a special relationship and are like friends. There is nothing that Achu hides from her mother. But the only thing taboo in their life is the talk about her father. Vanaja never speaks about Achu's father and Achu never asks her as she doesn't want to hurt her beloved mother. Their life moves smoothly until Immanuel John alias Ijo enters their life. They meet Ijo accidentally when they go to Trivandrum for attending an interview. After the first meeting, Achu and Ijo run into each other now and then, and a friendship develops between them.

The house is owned by Sophy and she she stays there with her two daughters Kamala and Padma. All three guys fall for Kamala, but Kunjunju and Deepu joins together and push Ashtamurthy out of the race by making him the 'Rakhi Brother' of Kamala. Kamala knows that Kunjunju is a flirt and so she tries to keep away from him. Deepu never tells about his love to Kamala or to Kunjunju, but Ashtamurthy knows about it. Kunjunju and Deepu falls apart after a fight and Ashtamurthy brings them together. The story takes a turn, when Sophy dies and the sisters are left alone
