Zeng Xi

The largest recycling ground in Beijing is located north of the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), where some 30,000 Henan people live and get rich by collecting the city's garbage. People live in temporary shelters next to piles of garbage, forming a unique "garbage land". The film is made up of independent stories, depicting the process of modernisation before inevitable demolition.
