Carlos Muniz Varela
1953 - 1979Carlos Muniz Varela was a Cuban journalist and activist, resident of Puerto Rico who was murdered under suspicious circumstances in 1979. Muniz Varela founded Movimiento Socialista Popular and was an outspoken backer of the Puerto Rican independence movements.
