Michael Sarnoski is an American filmmaker known for writing and directing "Pig" (2021) and "A Quiet Place: Day One" (2024).

Raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he graduated from the University School of Milwaukee in 2006 and then attended Yale University, majoring in art and film. At Yale, he co-wrote and directed the short film "Love for the Dead," set in a zombie apocalypse.

He met Vanessa Block during this project, and they later collaborated on the 2015 short documentary "The Testimony," with Block as writer, producer, and director, and Sarnoski as editor and executive producer. Sarnoski has also directed episodes for the TV series "Olympia" and "Fight Night Legacy."
