Press Pound to Connect depicts a change in perspective, moving from the individual singular self, to a view where there is no divide between self and other. The nine equal parts reference the pound symbol on a telephone keypad, functioning as a symbol for connection. It brings us to a cosmic, all-encompassing view, divided in space and tied together through telephone wire.

Living things are interconnected through their underlying carbon based structure. "Carbon Dust" symbolizes the elemental commonality between living things and nonliving organic material. They share the same basic carbon component. The film goes from formless microcosmic enlargements of dust, navigating the multitudes of life through time, to macrocosmic source-returning star-travel. The cycle of life is depicted from cosmic birth to cosmic return.
