Keegan-Michael Key (born March 22, 1971, Michigan) is an American actor, comedian, and producer, best known for the sketch show Key & Peele on Comedy Central and his roles in the series Fargo and Parks and Recreation. He has also appeared in films like Let's Be Cops, Tomorrowland, and Pitch Perfect 2. In 2015, Key played Luther, Barack Obama's "anger translator," at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Key was born to a mixed-race family but was adopted at a young age. His experience with racial identity has influenced his comedy. He earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in theater from the University of Detroit Mercy and Penn State University. Key was previously married to Cynthia Blaise and married Elisa Pugliese in 2018. He currently identifies as Christian, having previously practiced Buddhism and Catholicism.
