Tom Chatterton
1881 - 1952Tom Chatterton (February 12, 1881 – August 17, 1952) was an American actor.
Born in Geneva, New York, Chatterton began his film career in 1913 at the New York Motion Picture Company under director Thomas H. Ince.
Although never a major star, Chatterton had several leading roles in early silent films. He appeared in a large number of westerns and was able to adapt to talkies, allowing him to have a successful career lasting five decades.
He died in Hollywood in 1952 and was interred in the Glenwood Cemetery in his hometown of Geneva.

An inheritance of five thousand dollars turns her dream into a reality, and Leona goes to the city where she meets Mrs. Geraldine De Forest, an old friend of her mother's who introduces Leona to a wealthy widower named Frazer Boynton. Boynton proposes to the girl, but Leona refuses because she is in love with Jasper Halroyd. Mrs. De Forest, who is secretly in love with Jasper, lies to Leona that he is her lover. Horrified, Leona accepts Boynton's proposal, but later, after Jasper saves Leona from drowning, she realizes that she still loves him.
