She is also known for being one of the few actresses who acted opposite all top four Khans (Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh and Saif). She has also starred opposite Bollywood actors such as Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor. She also starred opposite Telugu Superstars Mahesh Babu in Murari, Chiranjeevi, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Nandamuri Balakrishna in films such as Indra, Shankar Dada M.B.B.S., Angaaray, Manmadhudu, Palanti Brahma Naidu and Kannada Superstar Upendra in the film Preethse (remake of Darr) That helped her to establish herself and she gain popularity in South and North. She is a well known Indian star internationally.

Circa 1800's a Jamindar (Prakash Raj) insults Durga Devi by stealing her idol in the temple in a state of intoxication.An enraged Devi kills him and puts a curse on his heirs that she is going to take one family member each every 48 years. And one male heir dies accidentally at the end of every 48 years. And the present year denotes end of another 48 years and now it's the turn of Murari (Mahesh Babu). In another village, there lives Vasundhara (Sonali Bendre). She too lives with a big combined family.Both the families of Murari and Vasundhara are releated by blood, but separated due to the family feuds.They both fall in love and these both families makes the formal arrangement of marriage. But once his grandmother, who returns from her Teerdha Yatra, upon being informed by the family poojari that Murari is the one who would be subjected to death by Devi this year, refuses for the marriage.

Captain Ranvir is assigned the task of apprehending two terrorists named Shaka and Dara. Upon arrival in the region, he meets with and falls in love with Radhika, the daughter of Rajasaheb, who also is a Mantri. The latter approves of him, and arranges his wedding with his daughter. Before the engagement could take place, Ranvir finds out that he has a rival in Shaka, who was in love with Radhika before, and is all set to prevent this marriage at any and costs. Ranvir decides to postpone his wedding until such time he arrests Shaka and his associates - a decision that will not only pit him against well-armed terrorists, but also result in the abduction of a bus-load of Vaishnodevi devotees - which include Radhika and her Bua.
