It's a 2004 made for TV adaptation of the popular manga, not to be confused with the 1985 adaptation, which spawned 5 sequels. Be-Bop High School drops you into the middle of brawling rival high school gangs who do little else than chase each other around with knives and baseball bats. Using local yakuza ruffians as their role models, these high school hooligans pound themselves senseless as fawning girls adore them from the sidelines. Not much plot here; just a WHOLE LOTTA fighting!

TAK∴, Hidetoshi Ezawa
From prominent Japanese filmmaker Yudai Yamaguchi comes this off-the-wall anthology of three experimental vignettes showcasing the style and wit that are the director's stock-in-trade. Recorded on digital video, these genre-bending short films -- starring then up-and-comer Tak Sakaguchi -- are awash with farce, Yamaguchi's pubescent sense of humor and electrifying rock 'n' roll.
