Pierre Salvadori
1964 (60 лет)Pierre Salvadori (born 8 November 1964, Tunisia) is a French Corsican film director from Santo-Pietro-di-Venaco known for works on romantic comedies such as Hors de prix (2006).
In 1989 he wrote his first screenplay, which would then become the hit film Cible émouvante (Wild Target), which he directed in 1993. The film garnered the young director a César nomination for Best First Work, though he had already tested his directorial capabilities the year before with the short film Ménage.
Cible émouvante (Wild Target) is being remade in Hollywood by Jonathan Lynn as Wild Target (2009)
In 1995, Salvadori began working with two of his favorite actors, Marie Trinignant and Guillaume Depardieu, who he cast in the highly successful films The Apprentices and White Lies. And in 2000, Salvadori switched gears from comedy to the dark thriller The Sandmen.

Into the solitary life of middle-aged hitman, Victor Meynard, come two people: Antoine, a youth who becomes Victor's apprentice, and Renée, a bold thief Victor's been hired to kill because she cheated a mobster. When circumstances prevent Victor from killing her, the gangster sends two more teams to do it (and to dispatch Victor and Antoine). Victor decides to help Renée, and the unlikely trio ends up at his house with his temperamental mother; there, as they hide out, Victor's attraction to Renée grows, she discovers his vocation and fears he's going to kill her, and an ultimate showdown with their hunters is inevitable.

Alain runs Le Detour, a small cafe in Paris where Antoine works. Antoine is reunited with his sister Marie when she's released from prison; they are very close, perhaps abnormally so, but she's not aware that Antoine has fallen into cahoots with Stephane, who works as a waiter at another cafe. Damien, a local businessman, is pressuring Alain to expand Le Detour, and cut his nephew Xavier in for a percentage as a manager. While Alain waffles on Damien's proposal, Xavier offers Antoine a chance to make some money under the table by delivering some drugs to a cadre of dealers. Antoine makes the drop and picks up the payment, but runs off with the money rather than bringing it back to Xavier, which proves to have tragic consequences for Antoine and his friends.

Antoine works in a bar in Paris. One evening on his way home from work, he intervenes when a man tries to commit suicide.
