
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor
1969 (57 лет)Ellis was born in San Francisco but grew up on her grandmother's farm in Magnolia, Mississippi. She initially attended Tougaloo College before transferring to Brown University, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in African-American studies. While at Brown, she performed in a student play, marking the start of her acting journey. She later honed her craft at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, studying under Jim Barnhill and John Emigh. Additionally, she is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
In a 2022 interview, Ellis publicly identified as bisexual. In 2023, she adopted the surname Ellis-Taylor to honor her mother.
