Jennifer Arnold

Jennifer Arnold is an Emmy-nominated director known for her adventurous background and global experiences. Raised in Santa Barbara, California, she spent her summers off the grid in the wilderness and began traveling the world at sixteen. She moved to Kenya at nineteen and continues to work internationally, attributing her storytelling skills to her unconventional upbringing.

Arnold's recent television work includes directing episodes of Based on a True Story, P-Valley, and the pilot of XO Kitty, which topped Netflix charts shortly after release. Her other TV credits include Emily in Paris, American Horror Story, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Her independent and documentary films have been showcased at major festivals, including Sundance. Notable works include A Small Act (HBO), which won multiple awards, and The Diplomat (ESPN). Arnold has also been an advisor at Sundance labs and CNEX workshops and has studied African History at UCLA and the University of Nairobi. She lives in Los Angeles with her wife, cinematographer Patti Lee.
