Carlos Saldanha (born January 24, 1965) is a Brazilian animator, director, producer, and voice actor, known for his work with Blue Sky Studios. He directed films such as Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009), Rio (2011), Rio 2 (2014), Ferdinand (2017), and Harold and the Purple Crayon (2024), and co-directed Ice Age (2002) and Robots (2005). He was nominated for Academy Awards for Gone Nutty (2003) and Ferdinand (2018).

Born in Marechal Hermes, Rio de Janeiro, Saldanha initially pursued computer science before discovering computer animation. He attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, where he earned an MFA in Computer Art and met Chris Wedge, who invited him to join Blue Sky Studios.

Saldanha and his wife, Isabella Scarpa, live in Hoboken, New Jersey, with their children. His daughters Manoela and Sofia voiced characters in his films, including Ice Age: The Meltdown and Rio.
