Lakshmana (Kannada: ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಣ) is a 2016 Indian Kannada language action film directed and written by R. Chandru. The film features newcomer Anoop and Meghana Raj in the lead roles with V. Ravichandran playing an important supporting role. The soundtrack and original score is composed by Arjun Janya whilst the cinematography is by Santhosh Rai Pathaje. The film is reportedly inspired from the Telugu film Athanokkade (2005) directed by Surender Reddy.

Uma marries Balu, an honest civil engineer. Uma thinks that he is rich and receives lot of bribes but turns out Balu is from the middle-class like her. Uma is a miser and dreams to become rich. After few years, they have two children. In the meantime, Priya, the daughter of Balu's boss Rajasekhar, falls in love with Balu and asks him to marry her unaware of Balu's marriage and his two children. Balu refuses to marry her as he was already married but she compels him. When Priya meets Uma, she offers her one crore rupees in exchange for marrying Balu. Uma immediately agrees and she starts forcing Balu for remarriage. Finally, Balu agrees with heavy heart as Uma threatens to commit suicide. Soon, Balu also starts falling in love with Priya. Uma slowly realizes her mistake and wants to get Balu back. The rest of the story is what happen to Balu, Uma and Priya.

Hero Charan (Tarun) a middle class family guy, is cheated by Sanjana (Anitha), a girl from rich family. This is to take revenge on him as he teased her in the past. When the hero comes to see Sanjana after a gap of few months, realizes that she is engaged to an NRI (Rajeev Kanakala), who is an innocent guy and loves to marry a girl with Indian culture. Charan comes to know that the bridegroom happens to be his friend. Then Charan tries to change the egoistic nature of Sanjana from a different angle. Meanwhile, the hero gets a friend Geethanjali (Sridevi), an orphan girl, working in All India Radio and gets attracted by the hero.

Eeshwar (Telugu: ఈశ్వర్) is a 2002 Telugu film directed by Jayanth C. Paranjee and starring Prabhas[1] and Sridevi Vijaykumar. Siva Krishna and Revathi played supporting roles.Eeswar (Prabhas) is a motherless child and brat living in Dhoolpet, a slum area in Old City. Eeswar's father (Siva Krishna) manufactures Gudumba (arrack) with the help of neighborhood people. Eeswar falls in love at first sight when he sees a college going beauty Indu (Sridevi). In the meantime, Eeswar's father marries Sujatha (Revathi), who has been waiting for him for the past 20 years so that she can be a good mother to Eeswar. Eeswar hates his stepmother thinking that his father married her to enjoy worldly pleasures. Meanwhile, Indu's father turns out to be a local MLA (Ashok Kumar) who hates poor. The local MLA sends goons to finish him off Eeswar. What follows next forms the second half of the film.

Bhuvana ,A lonely girl who is parentless longs for a true love and parental care. Though Bhuvana is a grand daughter of rich businessman he has no time to spend time with the child. The child wants to travel in the Rickshaw along with other children and she wants to be with Rickshaw Mama (Rickshaw uncle) aka Raja who takes of care of kids with love. The Bhuvana is attempted to kidnap and Raja saves her. Bhuvana is very adamant to go to school in the Rickshaw and her care taker appoints the Bhuvana to drop in and pick up from school. Initially Rickshaw Man wonders why he is appointed for pick-up and drop when the child itself is rich enough but finds the girl is longing for love and affection. He takes care of the Bhuvana with full affection and care and looks after her like a father. Since Bhuvana is under his care the kidnappers are not able to take that girl.
