1968 (57 лет)He was the youngest of five children in the family. His parents, Chris Jackman and Grace Watson, were immigrants from the United Kingdom. They moved to Australia in the 1960s.
When Hugh was 8 years old, his parents divorced. Grace returned to England with the daughters, while the three sons stayed with their father. A few years later, when Hugh was 12, his parents tried to reconcile but were unsuccessful. Grace would visit Australia for three weeks every six months, and from the age of 14, Hugh began regularly traveling to London to see her and his sisters.

After several miscarriages, they adopted two children: son Oscar Maximilian (born in 2000) and daughter Ava Eliot (born in 2005). Jackman noted that they always planned to have both adopted and biological children, but it turned out that they didn't have biological children.
