Jeremy Saulnier (born June 10, 1976) is an American director, cinematographer, and screenwriter.

He debuted in 2007 with Murder Party, a film he both wrote and directed, featuring his childhood friend Macon Blair.

In 2013, Saulnier released Blue Ruin, which received critical acclaim, holding a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 77/100 on Metacritic. The film earned him a John Cassavetes Award nomination at the 2015 Film Independent Spirit Awards and made an appearance at Cannes.

In 2015, he directed Green Room, a horror-thriller starring Patrick Stewart, Anton Yelchin, and Imogen Poots. The film, distributed by A24, holds a 90% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

His next project was adapting William Giraldi's 2014 thriller novel Hold the Dark for Netflix, with a screenplay by Macon Blair.
