Katherine Boyer Waterston (born March 3, 1980) is a British-American actress known for her roles in various films. She made her feature debut in Michael Clayton (2007) and gained recognition for supporting roles in Robot & Frank, Being Flynn, and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby before her breakthrough in Inherent Vice (2014). Waterston played Chrisann Brennan in Steve Jobs (2015) and starred as Tina Goldstein in the Fantastic Beasts series. Her other notable films include Alien: Covenant, Logan Lucky, The Current War, Mid90s, and The World to Come.

Born in Westminster, London, to American parents, Waterston holds dual citizenship and was raised in Connecticut. She graduated from Loomis Chaffee School in 1998. Waterston had a six-year relationship with playwright Adam Rapp, who dedicated his The Hallway Trilogy to her.

In November 2018, she announced her first pregnancy, with her son born in 2019. Waterston is also a supporter of transgender rights and has publicly criticized J.K. Rowling's statements regarding transgender issues.
